PS Property Management Company is looking for a full-time Maintenance Manager to assist in managing a growing portfolio of HOA and Condo Associations in the Austin Area. We are local company that has been serving local HOA and condo communities since 1987. - High School education or equivalent
- General knowledge of electrical, boilers, water heaters, plumbing, gates, pumps and swimming pools
- Minimum of 2 years on-site apartment, condominium, hotel or similar facility maintenance experience
- Is knowledgeable about competitive pricing of contractors and supplies
- Must possess valid drivers license, car insurance and reliable transportation
- Must be able to complete tasks with little or no supervision
- Must have own tools
- Must be HVAC Certified (A/C Certification)
- Inspects the communities when on-site and reports issues promptly to the Community Manager
- Performs routine plumbing and electrical repairs
- Performs routine carpentry, painting and other such tasks
- Ensures that trash and waste are picked up when on-site
- Ensures that preventative maintenance is performed on a timely basis and that preventative maintenance schedules are followed
- Assists the Community Manager in obtaining bids and provides on-site supervision of contractors and vendors
- Completes required service requests in a timely manner
- Participates in an ongoing community improvement plan and preventative maintenance program
- Ensures an adequate inventory of supplies for repairs
- Must be available for emergencies on evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must be prompt, on time to work, and have good, regular attendance
- Must communicate promptly and regularly with the Community Manager and interact with residents in a friendly and polite fashion
- Must stay informed and comply with all policies and rules
- Performs others duties as assigned by the Community Manager
